It's official, I'm activated and live but as I develop in this new technology I've discovered it's a whole lot more important to know what to listen for then how well you hear it. Since I'm not hearing tremendously well right now, listening well is more important. There's not a person alive who won't forgive you for not understanding... but just about everyone will not forgive you for not trying to listen. Listening well in more important than hearing well.Words don't always communicate effectively. Our ears are not our only listening capacity. When I was loosing my hearing, I found my eyes would often provide the missing elements of understanding I needed. Even before someone expresses their thoughts their eyes have already told me what was on their heart. A slight moistness in their eyes expresses that a person has just crossed a deep personal chasm and what they are about to say reaches deep into their personal experience. They not only know what they are saying but have also felt it first hand. It's time to listen up. Listening to a person's heart is more important than listening to a person's words, because what's in their heart is really what matters most of all.
